The Partnership for an HIV-Free Generation (HFG) was an innovative global public-private partnership aimed at reducing HIV incidence among youth in Kenya that united global leaders from the private and public sectors, along with host country governments, NGOs, and community members to revolutionize HIV prevention among youth in the target countries.
HFG leveraged the expertise of the private sector in branding, youth market segmentation, creating economic opportunities, and the use of new and emerging technologies to both develop new and innovative approaches, and to further the reach and impact of existing youth-targeted, HIV prevention interventions.
