The Optima HIV Modeling Tool Partnership is between CDC and Burnet Institute that aims to expand the Optima HIV Modeling Tool that predicts HIV epidemiological trends by linking program costs, coverage and outcomes. The tool will be enhanced to receive additional input aligned with current parameters for funding and implementing HIV care, treatment, and prevention services. The expected results are improved linkages, retention and adherence to HIV care and treatment for maximizing viral suppression levels. The tool will customized to support PEPFAR country programs and directly used by CDC.
