Cardno has implemented the Public-Private Partnerships in PEPFAR Countries Project (P4) since 2009. Under P4, Cardno manages, accounts for, and disburses resources (both public and private) provided through partnerships with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Center for Global Health (CGH)/Division of Global HIV/AIDS Tuberculosis (DGHT) and the Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and Health Diplomacy (S/GAC). P4 assists PEPFAR countries to maintain and expand current PPPs, as well as support the identification of private sector partners that may enhance country ownership and shared responsibility.
P4 Project manages partnerships in the following technical areas: health information systems, prevention, care and treatment, mobile health and digital health, evaluation surveys, demand creation and capacity building, that aim to achieve PEPFAR’s goals of epidemic control (95-95-95 targets), sustainability, and transparency. Cardno supports the reporting and evaluation of PPPs to assess impact and share lessons learned.
